Quality control for spinning

Quality Control Spinning

Quality of the yarn is maintained through different lab test in the spinning.

AFIS (Advanced Fiber Information System):
Sample weight taken for this test is 5 gm. Then this sample cotton is rolled up to 31 cm. then it is inserted to the machine. The tested parameters are HVI.

HVI (High Volume Inspection):

Different quality characteristics are measured from this test. These characteristics are mainly SCI (Spinning Consistency Index, Length, Amount of fiber, Uniformity, Short Fiber Index, Strength, Elongation, Moisture Content, Rd, +b, etc.

Yarn Twist Tester:
In this test, the TPI (twist Per Inch) is measured.

Count Measuring Balance:
In this test count is measured automatically by using a120 yards yarn as sample with the help of weight principle. Here 120 yards yarn is called 1 Lea.

Lea Strength Tester:
Through this test the strength of the yarn is measured. The following rule is used here:
C.S.P (Count* Strength*Product)= count* mass of yarn.

Uster Evenness Tester:
The properties which are measured from this test are as followes:
Single yarn strength
Count, count CV%
U%, CVm

Trash Analyzer:
In this testing the trash content (seeds, particles, leaves etc) in the fiber is measured.
